Student Life
The social interaction of our students is important. Our students participate in a variety of school activities including, chapel, boy's and girl's basketball, volleyball, soccer, cheerleading, choir, drama, band and student government. Plus, the students participate in spelling bees, speech meets, creative writing projects, a state exposition, and other exciting events.

Athletics
Christian Hills School is affiliated with Great Lakes Athletic Conference. Each sports team participates in a tournament at the end of their season.

Extra-Curricular Activities
State & World Expo
Students present different aspects of assigned countrys or states for their class. This is an all-school activity, to which the parents are invited.
Field Day
Field Day is a day filled with fun activities to celebrate the end of the school year.
Spirit Week
Spirit Week comes around twice a year with lots of fun things to dress up as (like Crazy Hat day or Backwards Clothes day) to show our school spirit, especially at sport tournament time.
Speech Meets & Spelling Bees
These are yearly events. Students compete within the school, with top contenders moving on the compete at the districs level. All students are invited to participate in these events.
Plays & Musicals
Our over-the-top musical are always a smash hit. Different musicals are presented twice a year. Below are some photos from our Christmas play.
Newspaper Club
Our home-grown reporters meet each month to plan out what articles will be presented by the Junior High students in “The Lion’s Roar Newspaper”
Meet A Hero Day
One of our very favorite days when we invite heroes from local Police and Fire Departments as well as the Armed Forces. The students love to hear their
stories, get their autographs and show their appreciation for all our heroes do for us.
Grandparent's Day
A wonderful day when all our Grandparents come to see our students perform, play games, and show their Grandparents just how much they are loved.

Co-ed Soccer
Soccer is a fall sport. It is a co-ed team that consists of fourth through eighth grade students
Girl's Volleyball
Volleyball is a fall sport. We have two teams, Junior Varsity and Varsity Volleyball team. Junior Varsity consists of fourth through sixth grade girls.
Varsity consists of sixth through eighth grade girls.
Boy's Basketball
Boys’ basketball begins right after our fall sports. There are two teams of boys’ basketball. The junior varsity is open to fourth through sixth grade and varsity is open
to sixth through eight graders.
Cheerleading
Our cheerleaders cheer at every home game and tournament during boy's basketball. There are two squads of cheerleading. The junior varsity is open to fourth through sixth
grade and varsity is open to sixth through eight graders. Varsity Cheerleaders have a chance to participate in a cheering contest during the tournament.
Girl's Basketball
The girls' basketball season begins right after the boys' ends. There are two teams. The junior varsity is open to fourth through sixth grade and varsity is open to sixth through eight graders.
Ribbon Dancing
We are called to praise the Lord and to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth. It is the goal of the Christian Hills Ribbon Dance Ministry to exalt the Lord and promote a creative
expression of worship through the art of liturgical and expressive dance. This ministry embraces the privilege of training young girls to celebrate and worship whole-heartedly and humbly
and equipping them to be ministers of the arts. It is our hope that the dancers encourage others to worship the Lord in a deep and creative way.
Girls in the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th grade are eligible to participate. The girls are invited to dance several times during the school year, including the School/Church Christmas Program, the Annual School Banquet, Meet A Hero Day, Grandparent’s Day, as well as, Special Chapels.
